Cheers for that Maren. I'll get that fixed for future builds.

I just need to run through testing this build a little bit more, then I'll send this one out on the user list.

Ah cool, I think that'll make a lot of people jump for joy! :D

Great job, thanks, although it has the same problem as the MacPort and the Homebrew ports: the new mesh gradients don't work properly. They always (initially) work on the stroke, not on the fill. You can get it to work, but it requires constantly resetting the fill type in the color/gradient/etc. dialog to mesh, which makes it virtually unusable if the mesh has more than a few points.

This does not happen in Linux or Windows, i.e. on those OSes, it works as expected without any problems.

@Tim: we've had someone in the forum having an issue with installing a custom extension on OS X Sierra (with the 0.91 version dmg). Do you happen to know if there are any known problems with that? The user ended up putting the custom extension into the share/extensions folder instead of the ~/..../extensions folder.

Tim Sheridan wrote :

@rvelthuis Can you do a quick screen recording of the incorrect behavior that you're seeing? I've had a quick look at this, and I when I move the points of a mesh around, I see that the fill/stroke type in the fill/stroke dialog does change from mesh to flat color. But in spite of this, it stays rendered as a mesh and I can continue editing other points in the mesh.

@Maren No problems with this for me with this AFAIK.

Checking in Preferences > System > User extensions, I've got "/Users/tghs/.config/inkscape/extensions" set in here. If I put an extension into that directory, then it shows up fine. Tested with 0.91, this 0.92 build and 0.92 from homebrew. Tested with the blueprint maker extension: https://inkscape.org/en/~loyOSs/★blueprint-maker

Thank you for testing and confirming that it's supposed to work, Tim.

It appears that for some macOS users this is either not working, or they are making some kind of unexpected mistake - unfortunately, I'm not sure if they'd help with testing, see http://www.inkscapeforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=32223&p=98083#p98083 .
