Known issues (r12922):
- Canvas: redraw issues (GTK2), flickering (GTK3)
Screen recordings: https://inkscape.org/en/gallery/6314/
- Menubar: radio menu items in sub-menus are not updated on change
(View -> Display mode, View -> Color Display mode)
- Menubar: check menu items don't sync with keyboard shortcuts (same verb)

I'd be interested in this as well. Sadly the launchpad repository hasn't had any updates in 2 years and it's marked as Abandoned, Jonathan, did you figure out if there is any other attempt?

to know about future releases, please subscribe to the Inkscape Announce mailing list and regularly visit our news section on the website.
If you would like to help with future OS X packaging, please contact the developers via the developers' mailing list or IRC.
The developers who have been working on making Inkscape 0.92.2 available as .dmg (not released yet) will hopefully respond.
I'm not sure about the status of a native OS X version, please also enquire on the mailing list or in the inkscape-devel IRC channel.
