neat idea, but the structure is Methyl Alcohol (Methanol which is lethal.
"Alcohol" in general use means Ethyl Alcohol (Ethanol).
Methylated Sprits have Methanol added to the Ethanol to make it undrinkable:
As well as being horrid to taste, it induces blindness or death.
Methanol: CH3-OH
Ethanol: CH3-CH2-OH
