I just uploaded Chapter 13B of the Inkscape tutorial that I'm writing. It is the second part of the a three-part chapter on working with gradient meshes. There is so much material that I feel it is better to divide the chapter into three parts than write one very long tome. Here is the link to the chapter:
Each chapter contains a link to take you to the Table of Contents if you're on a serious course of study.
This chapter discusses more deeply how to modify gradient mesh lines, how to move mesh points and handles, and change the color of a mesh point. You download an art file to work on if you haven't created one already in the previous chapter.
The chapter is long, and yet step-by-step, so you can learn at your own pace.
Writing these tutorials/chapters is how I learn Inkscape. I hope they can help you learn and enjoy Inkscape as a way to expand and enhance your imagination and add to your understanding of the graphic arts.
I am going to take a vacation before writing Tutorial 13, Part C. My brain is a cinder and seriously needs rejuvenation.
