I'd un-install Inkscape, and delete the user profile: (typically C:/users/yourusername/Appdata/roaming/inkscape). Appdata is a hidden file, so set Windows explorer to show all files.
Then I'd install version 1.3.2 using the .msi installer.
I'm using v1.3.2 because of bugs in the layers menu, and suggest that others use that version unless they absolutely need features in 1.4.
I don't spend time digging into issues unless a reinstall with a known-better version fails to resolve the issue. This blunt hammer approach can save time and frustration down the line.
@PimV, I wouldn't worry about the logged-as-missing extensions unless a particular function you need requires any of them. Many are replaced by other functionality. I'd check the release notes for more info.
Thanks for your answers! It would be nice if the development team of InkScape would remove the installation of these extensions. Normally one would expect a program to be installed without errors (unless there are real errors).
I installed the Windows version of Inkscape v1.4. downloaded from inkscape.org. My operating system is Windows 11.
The installation log shows a number of error messages about missing extensions which are shown at the bottom of this post.
I have difficulty in finding most of these extensions - where can I find them?
It would be nice if these extensions were included in the installation package, or at least if an instruction was included where to find them.
Here are the messages from the installation log:

Is there a difference between 1.4 and 1.3.2?
I thougt this was a regression from 1.1.2.

Why do you think this has anything to do with the extension-errors.log present in all Inkscape versions?
Yes.

I'd check 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 for starters.
