How Can I Select Multiple Objects On The Canvas? (Not On The Layers Panel)

I tried CTRL click on the Canvas It does not work?

Try shift-key to add+subtract to/from selection/s.

You can also use the selector tool to draw a box around them (also referred to as "lasso" or "lasso-ing") and that will select multiple objects. This works best is all the objects you want to select are close to each other and there aren't other objects nearby that you <i>don't</i> want to lasso.

Or hold alt-key down and draw a line with the Selector tool that will select everything it touches.
