I have an image that I converted from JPEG to SVG so I can edit it. When I open it up in Inkscape all is good till I click on say the business name. I am unable to click on the name to change it, it's like everywhere I click is a new path or layer. How do I go about correcting this or what am I doing wrong. I am somewhat new to Inkscape and don't use it enough to remember what I may have done last time. Any help is greatly appreciated. The file is going to be used for my son's lawn care business.Β
IΒ΄m not sure what you want to change exactly but you have 2339 Path elements in the file. If you want to add a "number" in the regarding field for instance youΒ΄re better off erasing that part in a Photoshop like app and autotrace again - or try to select the ca 50 elements to delete and adding new parts.

Nah, I'd just cover those areas with black (in the upper) and white (lower area), then put in new info.
If you want to get fancy, you can mimic the gradients in the lower area and in the large lettering.
