Beginners' Questions downgrading to v0.92 getting error

    Millan Millan @Millan

    Goodafternoon,

In advanced my apologies in my English writing isn't the best, not my main language.

I had the latest version installed on my pc, but for my school projects I need to use V0.92.2.

So I deinstalled the latest version and installed 92.2 but now when I want to open Inkscape I get the following error: "Inkscape encountered an internal error and will close now".

At the moment I dont know what to do, I de- and reinstalled Inkscape again, tried to find any extra files it maybe missed with the deinstallation but I can't find any and restarted my pc.

When I reinstall the latest version it does work, but its not similar enough for me with the 92.2 version to use it for my school study.

School came with the solution to try and install 92.3 but same error.

I tried the msi and the exe installer.

    I use windows 10, 64 bit.

If I missed any info please let me know.

    Thank you in advanced.

    Thank you

You must remove any setting files for Inkscape.

Possible the most relevant forum thread to locate setting file:
    https://inkscape.org/forums/questions/how-to-change-the-preferences-folder-location-in-windows/

I use Linux at home and can't find it for you.
