One of my current pass-times is the vectorisation of my own handwriting in order to create “machine-unreadable” Web-content...
No. Actually I need to improve my handwriting to make it readable again and need exercise. But anyway, hyperlinks in SVG were all it needed to get me started. So, basically, I play around with splitting images into curves, combining curves into words, simplifying words or syllables, then adding hyperlinks => handwritten web-page.
SVGZ would be cool, but our web-server does not appear to deliver this format (.htaccess is alright).
I'm not sure it's a clever idea to block access to people with limitations. Keyword: accessibility.
I'm rather toying with the idea of adding image descriptions to my online gallery, which can also be read out by the computer. Or also to produce more tactile art objects.
😣
I am not blocking access to anybody, I just do not care. There *is* a difference. Nobody asked me anything and I do – currently – not feel obliged to respond to any demands, concerning my making use of this defunct, wobbling, sick thing that “The Web” has become.
Exercising my handwriting and having fun in the process is what *I have decided* to do. And I will. ;)
Here is 1 document of 12 pages in Din A-5 format that should be a “proof of concept” but now stand for themselves. Be it what it is. I am currently trying to get “routine” and hope to stumble about functions that I do not yet know and which might shorten the time it takes me to create publishable content from ... weeks to days or something.
I have condensed my experience into a document in German. You find the textual version and a link to the original HTML in my profile. In view of the feeble interest that the topic should arouse, I abstain from translating it to other languages, for now.
Interesting.

I couldn't care less about that either.
To each their own.
Creators need no justification.
