    A little progress on keeping up with the storm. 

     

    Original image was rushed in a few days with heavy use of filtering, back in 2017. 

    In 2019, started working on a new variant that uses no filters at all, yet still captures the feel of the storm and heavy waves. 

    Got sidetracked after several efforts of crushing due to processing power issues.

     

    Just recently gave it another try and finishhed a variant that uses gradient filled paths only. 

    And for comparison made a fitting scale variant of the original image too.

    Was also planning on adding in filters to the recent version but probably it won't happen in the next two decades

    unless inkscape will support a renderfarm/a renderfarm supporting inkscape rendering.

    Tried some more filtering and decided to tone it down this time. 

    Not much difference can be seen in this thumbnail, but here it goes:
