Hello, I created this illustration with some detail because I wanted to learn Inkscape thoroughly. It is not finished but I am going to abandon it for now because the file has become so unstable to work on, perhaps it is to large idk.
Looks great! hope you can finish it, have you tried working on different files and then assembling it all into one? Maybe then your PC won't suffer so much.
Hi Thanks Marcos, I did consider that it but the way I work is not linear and I just move around the canvas a lot. In this case I think you are right and to put the finishing details on it I will try separating some of the elements to different files.
Hi, thanks. Yes I tried that, it wasn't a performance issue, there was an object in the file that was buggy, once I got rid of that the crashes mostly stopped.

Ok I resolved it up a bit more. I learned from the graphicwork account on youtube, if you are on here thanks for the help.

If you still have issues with performance/crashing. You can create bitmap copies of your selections and hide the original vector objects.
