Change the size of the original, without changing the size of its clones.
No, changing the parent's size will change the clones too. Here's a workaround.
You can link your clones to a larger or smaller parent shape. Select the parent and open the Layers and Objects dialog [shift+ctrl+L]. [double_click] to edit the shape id (path1234 for example) and [ctrl+c] to copy it.
Open the Find and Replace dialog [ctrl+f] and paste the shape id [Find: path1234] then [Search in: Properties] [Object types: clones] [Find] to select all clones of the parent. Enter the shape id of the larger/smaller shape [Replace: path1234-1] and [Replace All]
Alternatively, you can transform the selected clones without changing the original. Open the Transform dialog [shift+ctrl+m] [Scale] [Width: xx] [Height: xx] [Apply to each object separately: Yes]
Clone only foreground & fill colors
Select the shape whose colour scheme you want to duplicate. Select the target shapes. [Edit > Paste... > Style] or [shift+ctrl+v]. This duplicates the parent colours but changing the parent won't update the target shapes.

Every filter in your drawing is listed in [Filters > Filter Editor...] and can be selected in the top drop-down list. Select your original shape and the filter editor will tell you what filter is applied. Now select the target shapes, and select the same filter applied to the original shape.

Clone original LPE might be (is) what you look for, I guess, despite I don't master the CSS properties and Attributes fields.
If you find some documentation, I'm interested.
I'd select the original and open Selectors and CSS panel to see which properties can be cloned.
