Beyond the Basics Clone Groups of objects along the path

    In inkscape it seems to me that it is not possible to Clone a united group of objects along a path, or am I wrong? It would be very useful.

    Inkscape doesn’t allow cloning a group of objects along a path directly. You can convert the group into a symbol or combine it into a single path as a workaround. Another option is manually duplicating and arranging the objects.

    @freddy3366 Please study the screenshot above carefully; it tells the grouped pattern is cloned along the path.
