    Using Ubuntu 20.04

I have the file path copied to clip board, e.g. `/home/michael/foo/bar/baz/some_long_nested_file_name.svg`

Now I wish to open the file with inkscape. If I double click on the file in nautilus, it waits a bit then does nothing. So I have to always open inkscape first. Once inkspace is open I click File -> Open , now how does one paste in the file path? I tried CTRL+L like nautilus, does not work. Does one have to navigate the long way to find the file? Is there no faster way?

Normally in Ubuntu you would just right click the .svg file, choose the entry at the bottom of the context menu 'open with' choose inkscape from the menu list and tick the the default box.
