Hello, I was able to save a copy as .dxf R14 until last night.

Since then, suddenly it has started telling me it could not save the dxf file.

I thought it was a file problem but it appears to not even save a simple test.

I tried repairing the installation but nothing has changed.

Am I doing something wrong or how can I get this to work?

I have since had someone else look at a file of mine on their computer and Inkscape installation. They can export it successfully as dxf. with exact same settings I use.

But the same file here still produces the same error as****.dxf could not be saved.(See screenshot in previous comment)

Edit: I have now uninstalled Inkscape and deleted the remaining Inkscape Folder in Program files as well as the folder under C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Roaming\inkscape

After a re-install, it still remembered my recent files and it is still not working for exporting .dxf

This is what I got with these settings in the Export dialog:

Non of the setting make any difference. it just can't pout ANY dxf files on 1.4.

Last night, I uninstalled it and installed an earlier 1.2 version (as this matches the other computer my colleague tried) and after this, it woks.

So the problem is in Inkscape 1.4 after all.
