    I've noticed a little scissors icon pop up in one of my layers. What does this mean, and how do I stop it from popping up? I am eventually exporting this svg file to Cricut Design for cutting, will this affect the cutting?

    Hi. Those scissors mean you have a clip applied. As to how that affects Cricut, I have no idea, really.

    It means the object is clipped. Selecting the object will display more information in the Status Bar.

    It will probably affect the cutting. You can see the vectors that will open in Cricut using Menu:View>Display Mode>outlines, or by using the splitscreen.
