Hi fellow artist. I need to sketch and color some images, and then get them into Inkscape. I need some advice from other Artists on the best way to do this. Should I take step (1.) Below or Step (2). The objective is to save time, and to get the best quality image into Inkscape.
1. ) Should I : Sketch and color the image on drawing paper with art pencils?
2.) Should I : Use an electronic drawing tablet to sketch and color the image?
3.) After the image has been produced through (1) or (2) above, then import the image into Inkscape for further editing.I
i use method 1 but only use line art (I like draw use pen and color later in Inkscape) and use smart phone for photo my design. I no have tablet or scaner.
