Only been using the program for 3 days.     Use with LaserGRBL.     Simply using text to mark part numbers.

I figured out what font and sizes worked best for my application. After doing a few parts, all the font sizes changed on me.

I adjust "Document Properties" "Display" from mm to in. Then Width and Height to 4 inches each.

My font size choices have been /were: 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 ext...

Out of no where, the font sizes changed in the drop down menu now showing: 0.04, 0.06, 0.08, 0.1, 0.11, 0.12, 0.13 ext... 

Can someone let me know why it changed?? and /or How to get it back to the old font size numbers?

I even uninstalled the program from my computer and re downloaded it. Same issue.

There is a dropdown menu for units next to the font size numeric entry, it may have accidentally been changed to inches from points.

Tyler. I tried what you did this morning. Don't know how to do the fancy screen record so I did a video.

My font size didn't automatically change the first time from the .xxxxxxx size, but it did after I manually changed it and repeated the process, nor did it change when I dropped the font size menu down.

But, when I entered the size I wanted manually, everything seems to fit like it did before. But the drop down menu still shows .xxxxxx numbers

I haven't saved "Object to path" yet and tried it in LaserGRBL but hoping it works as it did before. I wont be at the office today.

I was unable to reproduce the issue here. Each time, it would make the change and not revert to the other units.

Inkscape 1.3.2   OS version: Windows 10 22H2

Ended up at the office. 

Everything worked like it was before, despite the font menu being .xxxxxx but manually entering the text size worked.
