Hi everyone, please help. What is the best way to prepare and send png images to my cutter. Currently I am buying png files and converting them into vectors with the trace bitmap/autotrace. Is there a way to make the image smoother for cutting? Also when using  the bezier tool for cutting out portions of an image after I save or send the image the cut out portion shows up in the save/sent file. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I do a lot of the same and autotracing rarely results in a clean vector file. You will need to learn how to edit nodes in inkscape to get results that will cut well. If the image is simple it may be quicker to manually trace it. Either that or use the Path->Simplify command which may help clean up the vectors.
