Beyond the Basics Moving Objects out of groups

    I am using Objects Dialog box.  I have a flower that is nested in a group.  I want to move the flower out of the group.

    I can not seem to move the flower out of the grouping.  What am I missing?

    Two ways : 

    Double click the grouped item until is it is selected, right click and choose 'pop selected item out of group' at the very bottom of the context menu.

    or if you have a spare layer right click and choose 'move to layer'
