Issue 1: I'm laying out a pattern that will be reproduced three times on a sheet. In the pattern there is a white circle with a round logo centered within it, the white circle creating a separation band around the logo. The white circle is 2.625 inches dia and the logo 2.500 inches. When I center them visually there is a significant difference in their X-Y locations, to wit: White circle 4.084/0.545, Logo 4.161/0.625. Why?
Issue 2. Probably related somehow. When I reproduce the pattern three places everything looks normal on the layout but when I print the pattern the second and third logos are visually shifted slightly upward visually within the white circle and are clipped on the top although there is clearly adequate white space above them.
WHOA!!! The shift also happens with PDF!! So I tried adjusting the relationship between the circle and the logo manually and I can get it pretty close when I print so that's a workaround. HOWEVER, the logo images two and three are "shaved" at the top - about 0.005" on number two and 0.010" on number three. It's bizarre, as though there is some invisible feature where there should be nothing (the logo is the top-most feature). Thoughts?
Check your assets to make sure the bounding boxes are limited to something - not transparency.
If printing - DO NOT DO SO! Always use a backer under your art - an appropriately sized rectangle on a bottom layer in your stack - lock all of your art layers - select the bottom layer - export selection as a png. Pull it into your document publisher and go from there.
I'm not sure what NELCHAI means. Check assets? Limited to something? If printing - DO NOT DO SO?
As the graphic was created each layer is grouped. I have saved as both SVG and PDF and the results are the same. I'll attach three cropped photos to show the "shaving" of the logo image. It looks like it has something to do with the demarcation between the red and white bands which are on the bottom layer with the white circle next and the logo next.
However, what I think is happening is that your bounding boxes are not aligning the way you want them to. It appears that the edge of your braiding is aligning to the center of the white vertical. If you put a filter on the braiding, it will cause a transparent zone which interferes with alignment and will require manual adjustment.

I'm baffled as to what is going on.
Svg coordinates use the lower left corner of the bounding box, not the object centers.
I advise saving a copy as pdf and printing from the pdf.
The Frisbee kept getting bigger and bigger - and then it hit me! Whoda thunk?
Thanks

An example Inkscape svg file can help solve the issue.
I wouldn't export to png unless you want all the nice vector lines converted to jaggy anti-aliased bitmap. 💀

I understood the issue. No good way to asses why, with out an example Inkscape svg working file.
I agree with Tyler - we need a copy.

Also check your layer sequencing. White = top and red is below but on same layer as braid?
