I'm sure i must have a setting selected/deselect somewhere that i can't find. When using the node tool and with transform handles option selected I only get the 4 corner handles (expand/rotate) not the side ones (stretch/skew).
This is a feature i'm sure i've used in previous versions of inkscape but for some reason i can seem to activate in 1.3.
Can any one point me in the right direction or are these features that have been removed or replaced with something else?
Ok that's embarrassing just realised it's due to the separation distance of the nodes. For anyone else in the future if you have a node separation of less than roughly 9px the stretch and skew handles disappear. To rectify enlarge object adjust and then resize.

Nodes just 9px apart are perhaps not very efficiently placed methinks. Just saying.
