Yes it could be altered to produce page numbering.
However they would not be fully interactive like clones, since they would have different numbers - which means they cannot be cloned.
It can be done however it would have to have a separate font family selector to the main window. Since there is no font selector built into the .inx system yet.
What would you like to see from font numbering - write a list of features - there are probably things I have not considered.
0. The ideal solution would be something that would automatically update as pages are created or removed. This functionality is somewhat tied to the idea of "master page". A second solution would be to generate the page numbering only at a final stage of one's work, but this would be very limited for many reason.
1. Page numbering basically has 3 requisites: being able to only count after a certain page, not count a certain (and don't show) page and don't show (but count) certain pages.
2. Would be interesting - bot not essential at a first - to have multiple forms of numbering, like regular number, roman numerals and so on.
3. Text format is important but also position. Initially being able to just place in any random place would be ok, but later this would have to be tied to things like margins.
About point 1, it's not a not a easy task for UX. Programs like Libreoffice and indesign have very confusing paths to implement these configurations.

Hi, this could be incredibly useful!
Do you think it's possible to further use it to generate automatic page numbering?
