Hi, Yesterday I have been busy in Windows 8.1, with the portable version of Inkscape 1.0 (4035a4fb49, 2020-05-01). I am trying to make a simplified version of Inkscape, for kids and their teachers.
So, I already managed to edit these files: menus.xml toolbar-commands.ui toolbar-tool.ui
Now for the next part, I think that the filter list and the extension list in the menu is too big. But they are not editable in the menus.xml file. It is possible to delete them completely from the menu, but that is not so much fun. It would be better to have a shorter list of extensions and filters, so that children can play with them, but not be too overwhelmed.
Is it possible to make those lists shorter? Does anybody know a workaround?
