I am casual inkscape user (flatpak Inkscape is installed on Silverblue). I have many fonts and most probably that is why "Select Font Family" menu is compressed (adding screenshot). I wonder if that is a bug, how to fix that?
P.S. Now to look for desired font I am using "Font Manager" then searching for the font in "Text and Font" tab. :(
No, disabling preview in the text bar does not help.
So, as I understand it is already reported as a bug?
It also crashed today and it showed this message each time I tried to start the program:

Hi - the crash you experienced is due to having a pen tablet connected to your computer while starting Inkscape. It was fixed in 1.4 so the betas wouldn't crash.
Hello,
I am casual inkscape user (flatpak Inkscape is installed on Silverblue). I have many fonts and most probably that is why "Select Font Family" menu is compressed (adding screenshot). I wonder if that is a bug, how to fix that?
P.S. Now to look for desired font I am using "Font Manager" then searching for the font in "Text and Font" tab. :(
Thank you
A large number of fonts can lead to issues. https://gitlab.com/inkscape/inkscape/-/issues/1465
