I'm trying the Inkscape since few days. I saw on some videos and online tutorials, that there is a barcode extension, but in my version its not there. I have tried to download the extension and tried to copy it to the extension folder, but I can't still see it in the software. Why?

Im using MacBook with M1 and MacOS Monteray. Latest inscape v1.1 version

i have just find out, that barcode is only shown in the English version. I'm using the German language, and there is no barcode in the extension, when I switch to English and restart the software, then I can see and use barcode.

Doch - auch in der lokalisierten Version ist es da, allerdings heißt es dann "Strichcode":

You can find it under the name "Strichcode" ...
