I am working with an Inkscape image that has many, many layers. Probably over one hundred layers. Unfortunately the layers were not named. As you can see from my attached image there is an image layer that extends to the right slightly more than the other layers in the image. (See black arrowed line I drew in to point to the protrusion)I need to somehow select that layer that is protruding to the right most portion of the image. So how do I do that?
Note that I did not show the full image on this forum for privacy concerns for my customer. I only posted the right most portion of the image. So how can I select this layer which is protruding to the right? Right now it feels like finding a needle in a haystack.
Hard to tell without the file - I don´t get why all layers seems to have nearly the same bounding box. Maybe go Object->Layers and Objects panel and set layers to "invisible" (in bulk) until you find the layer you want to work on.

Have you tried Object->Layers and Objects panel already?
Yes, I tried that, however like I said the image has many, many layers. Like over 50. So what next?

Are they truly separate Layers? Or, are they objects stacked in Z-order?
Yes, perhaps do this first:
Hold down the `Tab` key, Inkscape will rapidly cycle through all the objects.
When you see the bounding box in question flash, stop.
Hold down `Left Shift` and tap `Tab` which will take you backwards object by object until you see what you want.
The tabbing works. Thanks everyone. Inklinea your suggestion worked best for me. I appreciate everyone's help, thank you so much !
