I've been tasked with some vinyl printing. I’ve got to the stage where I am ready to print. However after my first cut using the pixmax 720 I’ve noticed that because of the image I am using it will not cut correctly regardless of cutting force or speed. 
 

The high detail image I have been sent was originally used for embroidery and when zoomed in you can see the fabric details or stitching if you like. 
 

Does anyone know how to smooth this out or remove it completely through Inkscape? I have attached a picture showing the issue. 
 

If it were me, I would redraw with bezier pen tool.  Doesn't look like more that 15-20 minutes, maybe less.  If you knew the font, you could just retype the letters.  Some people react to the bezier pen with horror at first.  But it is a great tool.

If you don't need much precision, you might could apply a blur to it, until its smooth.  Make a bitmap copy of that.  Autotrace the bitmap.  If after blurring and making a bitmap and autotracing, its still off you could try centerline trace.  Give that result a stroke.  Convert the stroke to path.
