If you're using an appimage, you're experiencing https://gitlab.com/inkscape/inkscape/-/issues/1306 . You can try using a flatpak/snap (or ppa version I think?). You can also extract the appimage and try to play around with the AppRun environment (if someone works out a fix, it'd be helpful to post in the linked bug report)
I indeed use the Appimage version. I don't really have time to understand right now how to fix it myself, fortunately I'm not in a hurry for this job, was just playing around with the new Inkscape for now, Idk if there is a PPA version nor where to find it, so I guess I'll wait for the devs to fix it for everyone once for all.
Hi !
I've just installed InkscapeΒ on KDE Neon. I'm trying to use the interpolate extension, but whatever I do, I keep getting this error :
Β
Fatal Python error: Py_Initialize: Unable to get the locale encoding
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'encodings'
Current thread 0x00007f7699284740 (most recent call first):

Any idea about how to fix that please ?
