@julioneto , i have no idea how to do that but i did notice the text being written in the preview box on the lower right side, but still trying to figure out how to make the text visible .
Make sure it has a color and/or that alpha is not at 0
Right click on the text, select "Fill and Stroke...", this will open the Fill and Stroke panel on the right. In the Fill tab make suer that the channel labbeled "A" is at a 100%
Hey everyone. while trying to input text, it creates the box but no letters in the box, what am i doing wrong
the text could be invisible. Try typing something simple then open the fill dialog and check the fill transparency and object transparency

Maybe try exploring the Tutorials in Inkscape's Help menu... fast, easy and show how to use text.
