Beginners' Questions Click on File menu and it doesn't open on second monitor but the original high resolution laptop display/monitor.

    I dragged InkScape to my second monitor thenΒ when I click on File, the menu opens on the original monitor instead of the monitor that I drug(dragged) the application to. I haven't been able to figure out how to move the menu to the second monitor. If I open preferences, I can drag the preferences dialog box to the second monitor without issue. My second monitor is a large monitor with lower resolution (HD) than the laptop's original (4K).

    Hi, it sounds like you're experiencing an upstream bug https://gitlab.com/inkscape/inkscape/-/issues/54 (if you're not on Windows, its not the same bug)

    A couple of users have suggested workarounds, but unfortunately it seems unavoidable under your current setup
