Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but when I try to save a SVG file to add to the symbol library, it only showed up as a folder but not the symbol that I added to the library. the svg files act as if it's an empty folder.. Is there an easier way to do this? (See Pic)
Hi. I don't know if I understood correctly, but the created symbols will be shown only in the svg where they were created. To add them definitely you have to copy that file in the symbols folder of Inkscape.
Well, I'm sorry, I don't know what could be happening here. But in the last image you only see Word balloons because you have a filter applied. Change it to All symbol sets, or if you have your own folder search it from that option.

Cool thanks, I will give that a try.
I tried it, but some odd reason, Inkscape thinks that the SVG files are empty folders... Here are the pictures.
Been trying to do it this way, but Inkscape won't let me do that. See Picture.

Cool Thanks 😉
Cool, finally figured it out & it worked, thanks 😉
Glad to hear it 😄
