July - Bug Accelerator 2023

The release is complete and we now have a new contract to fix bugs for Inkscape. My name is Martin and I'll be working on bug fixes for 1.3.1. This latest work will fix issues that crop up between now and the next point release and will hopefully make Inkscape more stable and have fewer regressions.

This month is a very short month, the contract was renewed part way through the month and family emergencies didn't give me the time to focus on bug fixes. But there are some things fixes:

• Fix clipping mask icons which didn't work if you had both clipping and masking set at the same time !5511
• Fix viewports on markers which stripped away important information and broke their visibility in web browsers !5513
• Tidy and remove duplicate pattern !5514
• Fix crash in PDF input when page labels are in UTF16 !5589
• Refactor contributor and sponsor documentation for the release #2913 I also fixed one of the graphics and kicked off a discussion in the testing team to fix those linked pages too.

9 hours were used from the budget this month.
