Beginners' Questions Using TILE path effect with negative Gap X doesn't seem to work

    Trying to create a series of circles going left (not right) but when I enter in a negative path effect it doesn't seem to work.

    Inkscape 1.4 (86a8ad7, 2024-10-11), Win 11

    Here's a workaround.

    Select a circle.
    Group [ctrl+g].
    Flip horizontal [h].
    [Path > Path Effect > Tiling]

    No group necessary: just select circle and hit "H and the Gap will travel to the left.
