Perhaps I could have been more clear - On (almost all) extension detail pages, there are TWO ways to download the app. 1. There is an Arrow icon in the middle of the page, when hovering, it shows "Download". 2. Below, and to the right, under Inkscape Extensions, is a link label "Link". This (correctly) takes you to the GitHub site for downloading.
What I am attempting to point out is, why would anyone want to get a PHOTO (perspfix.jpg) of the app, instead of downloading the app (which is what it does)?
"Gallery" is a bit of misnomer. (although that appears) when you start from the Home page, it is under Extensions, then to all the way to tab number 11.
User provided resources such as artwork, tutorials, extensions, etc. fall under the umbrella of the Gallery. Extensions in particular can be directly accessed via the homepage navigation menu, or can be searched for within the gallery.
The author of this extension has not uploaded a zip file of the extension files to the resources gallery. This also occurred with some of their other extensions. But because they have uploaded an illustration, the download button is active.
You can contact the extension author via their github page.
The download link for this extension is wrong - it links to a .jpg visual of the utility. The true link should be
https://github.com/Shriinivas/inkrasterperspective
It may depend on which extension you seek. Where do you see a bad link?

Should I presume you mean in the Inkscape.org gallery? Do you have a link to the page you refer to?
