Embroidery and InkStitch NEWBIE HELP - Converting SVG to satin stitch

Hello everyone, I am a brand new user of inkscape/inkstitch, and an embroidery enthusiast. I would like to create embroidery files for my Brother F450E.

I'm struggling to convert my designs into embroidery files. I have created this SVG in my drawing software, and would like to digitise it into an embroidery design

    https://pbs.twimg.com/media/F6uKHwRWQAACpog?format=png&name=small

I'm struggling with the following issues:

    - Not pathing correctly (Attempted Fill and stroke > Stroke paint > Flat colour > No paint - this only traced the outline when I want the inner part of that outline traced)

    - Error "Only simple lines may be converted to satin columns." keeps showing up every time I try to convert the image

    - SVG seems to only be able to create fill lines and not satin lines

I don't feel like I could appropriately trace the image by hand without losing it's charm, nor use the centreline tracing in the Trace Bitmap tab to properly trace the image without heavy editing

I'm frustrated, as I'd ideally like to keep the image as it is and simply convert it somehow to a satin stitch. I would really appreciate any help that anyone can give me on this as I'm feeling sad, frustrated and demoralised in my usage of the software, but I really feel like it's a powerful tool that I'd like to learn to use properly. Thank you so much for reading, I'm willing to give any clarifications on my issue as needed.
