I'm doing a project where I am doing a lot of measuring and fine adjustments to lines. Is there a way to have the measuring tool snap to a line but have the handles of a node not snap when I move them?
Snapping can be temporarily suppressed by holding the shift key when dragging.
Hold alt-key down when adjusting the node handles then. Shift-key will skip snapping but handle length will not stay put.
Shift also locks the angle between corner handles... not always helpful. Then the % key to toggle snapping might be required.
On macOS holding shift-key will disable snapping while manipulating handles from corner nodes. Just saying.
