Beginners' Questions Saved svg image is much larger than it is in Inkscape

    I created an image that is 9 inches tall in inkscape.   When I load the image into other svg compatible tools the image is over 300 inches tall.

    I am doing a simple "save" from inkscape.

    Under document properties > display, the width is 4.074, height in 9.000, the scale is 0.010417.

    I know I am doing something wrong but I can't figure out what it is.

    Help :)

    Could be the result of the scale factor.
