I've been using Inkscape for a couple of weeks now, and I'm loving it. It crashes every now and then but until now it either created a the crash save, or I've been good with Ctrl+S.Β But today I forgot to save, it crashed, and boom an 90 minutes of work lost. I looked into the autosave folder and... nothing.Β
I double checked edit/preference, and it should be saving every 8 minutes with a max of 10 autosave.Β
If anyone has an idea of where I can start to look to fix that? (I search the forum and google it, but it doesn't seem anyone else has encountered this, so... finger crossed).Β
My bad. I have Windows 10 on a Surface, Inkscape 1.0.1. I think I may have used the exe installer.Β
However when I looked for files on my computer, I couldn't find the Inkscape folder in program files, just a bunch of empty folders scattered around. (I was also looking for theΒ gdb_create_backtrace.bat to help report on the crashes but couldn't find that either).Β
So I uninstalled it and used the MSI installer this time.
I'll update the thread in case I still run in the problem.Β

Describe your OS & version, the version of Inkscape and the installer you used.

Reinstallation seems to have solved it. I have autosaved files where I wanted them. And it hasn't crashed in a while too.Β
Hi guys!
In my case, Inkscape is not autosaving. I am using windows 10 64bits, version 20H2
Autosave is enabled to intervals of 6 minutes and a maximum of 30 times
Thanks in advance
