I've been using the "AxiDraw Utilities" extension for Hershey Text conversion... It appears to be the same tool as the one @oskay posted above, except it now includes an additional 9 fonts from EMS. I assume the additional fonts are the only difference, though I would love to know if that's not the case.
The Hershey Text extension included with Inkscape and that included with the AxiDraw extensions for Inkscape are identical. The AxiDraw software installation does add a duplicate copy of Hershey Text in the Extensions > AxiDraw Utilities submenu, but it really is just a duplicate "shell" that calls the same software currently included with Inkscape.
I'm curious as to whether the Hershey Fonts are included in Version 1.2.2?
IF NOT what is the process of getting those font sets incorporated - by using Extensions - or by some other process?
Thanks!
Yes, 9 Hershey fonts are included with Inkscape 1.2.2. See Extensions > Text > Hershey Text... for a list of the specific ones included.
