yes it worked though I went to the actual unlink clone function button and did this after deleting the original object, I than selected all and put to path and used the app to laser cut and it wrote the program thanks again excellent software, I wished FreeCad would incorporate the app inkscape into it's functionality I enjoyed using FreeCad
So I will attempt to explain I set my primary object then I go to the tool for clone, and create tile clone,
I establish distance and rows, and things appear as I would like them, I then set select the entire group
and set object to path, but when I select the app for laser cutting and only pattern it lasers is the first hole
not the entire pattern or perforated cluster, is there a step I am not using that would allow the laser app
to dimension and layout the entire perforated pattern, rather then merely the first hole, circleΒ
Before converting to path, I'd select all and use Shift-Alt-D (cut all clone links) to make all clones regular objects.
Keep in mind there may be a duplicate of your original exactly on top of the original and the laser may cut twice there, unless you remove one.
thank you shift -alt-D and this may help I will try and get back asapΒ
