Hi, I'm trying to export PDF files in Inkscape, but unfortunately it's not working, when I click on export, it sends an error message ("Unable to export to filename")and the .pdf file is exported completely blank.

From what I tested, a file with just a black circle appears, but my created art does not :(

does anyone know what it could be?

I haven't seem this problem and I've no idea what's happening here. Perhaps you can upload your svg and the resulting pdf for our investigators.

Any special keys in name and save path perhaps? Just asking.

1. Describe the source of the file: created with Inkscape, downloaded, imported from another program, etc.
2. Describe the specific steps you took, the result you expected, and the result that actually happened.
3. Describe your OS (your computer's Operating System: Mac/Windows/Linux/etc. & version).
4. Describe if Inkscape was newly installed, or upgraded from an earlier version.
5. Describe the version of Inkscape and the installer you used (the file you downloaded from the website: .msi/.exe/.zip/other ). 
6. Describe any special hardware being used, like tablet/stylus, external drives or multiple monitors.
7. Describe any helper/assistive programs or keyboard modifiers (macros, languages, etc.).

Bonus points, if you:

• Attach* a screenshot of the issue.
• Attach* an example SVG file that has the issue.

I'm using Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS x86_64 on an Acer notebook

 I use version: Inkscape 1.3.2 (1:1.3.2+202311252150+091e20ef0f) installed from the ubuntu store

 The file was created directly on my computer.

I try to export the file to PDF, but it gives an error, even if I combine all the pages into one

The folder and file name have braces but even if I put a simple name on the file and folder, it still gives an error when exporting.

The Inkscape file is filled with empty groups and empty text objects and unused gradients.

I would ungroup everything, delete all unused objects and clean the document. It may take some effort, but can be successful.
