I click on the Rectangle tool and drag to create rectangle. I pull down circle in upper right hand corner and nothing happens? Also is there a search option before posting question? thanks for looking, Lucie
Windows 10, from Inkscape websie, version 1.0.2-2. Browser is Firefox and I did restart. When I click on the Rectangular box in to toolbox it draws an Oval. I understand the fill and borders.
From Inkscape's Shapes tutorial found in the Help menu: "You may have noticed that the Rectangle tool's Controls bar shows the horizontal (Rx) and vertical (Ry) rounding radii for the selected rectangle and lets you set them precisely using any length units. The "Not rounded" button does what it says: removes rounding from the selected rectangle(s)."
Rounded corners can be removed from a rectangle by using the Make corners sharp button ( ). The width and height of a rectangle can also be set using entry boxes in the Tool Controls.
If the tool draws an oval, one handle is already at full magnitude. Setting the rounding handles back to the corner will reset the rectangle and the two rounding handles can be used as described.

Found the Search button but not answer to my question.
Describe your OS & version, the version of Inkscape and the installer you used, plus any special hardware like tablet/stylus or multiple monitors.
Have you tried restarting Inkscape?
