This is amazing. Not even exaggerating, the multiple page view and redesigned export view are both so useful and will make my life significantly easier and better. (One of my main uses for Inkscape is exporting lots of vector images from large PDFs.)

Thank you all so much. I just made a long overdue contribution to the Inkscape Fund; it's the least I could do for this fantastic project.

    Amazing release!!!
    Thank you very much.
One thing, my MS Edge internet browser doesn't allow me to download the .msi Inkscape installer file in windows 10, it says something like it is not signed! Is this normal?

I believe it is normal: https://gitlab.com/inkscape/inkscape/-/issues/1449

I edited Ryan´s announcement to add info for Window users, who might miss the "import web image" feature. They need to download again due a packaging error.

Hi, thanks for all the hard work.

Is there a PPA for 1.2? 1.1 PPA will upgrade automatically? Thanks.

Awesome release! When will version 1.2 be released in the Microsoft Store?

    Hi

Check search Inkscape 1.2 PPA, seems it just came out. I installed 1.2 from there and its fine.

Took a bit but came across an extension I used that worked in Ver. 1+

Had 92 and on upgrading from Ubuntu MATE 20.04 to Ubuntu MATE 22.04 it was no longer available, glad extension was fixed for python problem.

Downloaded the Appimage from Inkscape Website and it doesn't have any printers showing. Been that way for awhile no problem save and print

    outside of program.

Flatpak worked but didn't like it updating on it's own. On a data cap plan. Reason tried was PPA wasn't available yet.

1.2 not starting after Inkscape upgrade on Windows 10 machine (Windows Patches up to date). Upon launch, receive dialog "Inkscape encountered an internal error and will close now.".

Where did all the icons for snapping go? Not possible to enable that toolbar - only menu?

    Best regards,

    Jørgen.

    Polygon Polygon @Polygon🌶

@tietze No toolbar anymore for snapping options.

The snap tools interface is still being discussed at great length by developers... a number of users want alternatives to the current design.

Thanks for the update - and yes I could imageine that. Significant UI changes can stir quite a debate ;-)
