    Here is one way to generate new ideas from your original Path. Use the Rotation keyboard shortcuts while using the Node Tool.

    Seeing a Path or shape altered can lead to more design variations. See the graphic for brief details and the GIFs for some simple examples.

    You can be as wild or as simple as you wish. Explore and  find out what other goodies you can create.

    For additional visual alterations while the nodes are selected, you can flip them horizontally or vertically. And you can change the node types while they are selected. The combinations are very rich and broad.
