    Hello,

    • Create a guideline
    • double click on it to open Guideline dialog
    • check Locked, then OK

How to unlock it without unlocking all with the button at the beginning of the rulers?

    Thanks for listening

    I'd use the XML editor.

Double mouse click on the needed guideline to see the dialog box. Note the options available.

Also, review this reference forĀ Ā handy shortcuts ... on guides and much more ... within Inkscape.

    Thanks for answering !

"Double mouse click on the needed guideline" is not effective with locked guideline (v1.2.2). That's why I asked how to do....

Using XML editor is an effective solution but with many guides it may be difficult to know wich one to edit...

Under Edit - LockĀ All GuidesĀ  - toggle to temporarily unlock them. Adjust the one(s) you want. You can always lock them again. Also, read this:

    https://inkscape.org/forums/questions/unalterable-guides/#:~:text=You%20can%20either%20toggle%20the,to%20set%20it%20to%20false.

Found on google search "inkscape how to unlock all guides".

Complex designs can utilize the naming (label) of objects, including guides. (colors too)
