Beginners' Questions oval created with circle tool has unwanted transparency

I created an oval with a black fill (alpha is 1.0), and a reddish fill (alpha is also 1.0) ... but the oval is still somewhat transparent.
I have attached an SVG where there is text, in the same layer, that is below the oval, but is still visible.
Where else other than stroke and fill properties might there be a transparency setting? My beziers don't seem to come up semi-transparent ...

No SVG attached from waht I see. Is there any Blend mode active perhaps? Select the reddish oval and check Status Bar about any hints.

Ok - checking the status bar with the oval selected, the "O:" was 75 ... I didn't realize that was opacity. The circle tool seems to remember that setting.

    Thanks, that fixed it.

The circle tool seems to remember that setting.

Yes - when use „Last used style“ is set in the tool`s property.
