Some System Fonts on my mac are not listed in Inkscape, in particular Annai MN.

Annai MN is in my Font Book, which Inkscape apparently reads to include most other System Fonts.

Is there a way to get it to include Annai? My OS is Sequoia 15.1.1 and this font was also not available before it.

I believe it will appear if you use some of these languages:

Asu, Bemba, Bena, Bodo, Cebuano, Englisch, Gusii, Hindi, Ido, Indonesisch, Interlingua, Jju, Kalenjin, Kinyarwanda, Konkani, Kornisch, Lojban, Luhya, Luo, Machame, Makhuwa-Meetto, Makonde, Malaiisch, Marathi, Morisyen, Nepalesisch, Nord-Ndebele, Nyankole, Oromo, Rombo, Rukiga, Rundi, Rwa, Samburu, Sangu, Sanskrit, Shambala, Shona, Soga, Somali, Suaheli, Süd-Ndebele, Süd-Sotho, Swazi, Taita, Tamil, Taroko, Teso, Tsonga, Tyap, Vunjo, Xhosa, Zulu

My macOS is set to German/English and this font will not appear in any app running here because it´s not active according to FontBook´s entry. So it has nothing to do with Inkscape.

In FontBook is a download link that will install this font in a background and after a Mac-restart it´s available in AffinityDesigner - still not Inkscape and when you try to install it manually you will instantly see why it´s not made for my system or how it´s localized:

Thanks. Annai MN is active in Font Book for me and is available in all other programs on my system, except Inkscape. I am using English, and that's in the list you give. 

Annai is, imo, the best free-hand-like font.

After another restart it´s appearing in the font list with the right preview - but no in the preview section of "Text and Font" nor on canvas:
