Good morning. Hoping someone can help me here. I look after a group of schools which are moving to a 100% cloud based setup. We now use InTune for software deployment and all users are held in Azure. The issue I am having is InkScape is set a user context deployment so when a new user logs onto a shared device it can take many hours for the inkscape shortcuts to appear. I have deployed the MSI with the ALLUSERS=1 but the shortcuts do not appear instantly for new users and because intune can take up to 24 hours to refresh policy this is causing many problems.
I could set a fixed start menu with a pinned tile however another fix would be to deploy the icons with the msi to put them in the public user. But I would rather not edit the msi to do this.
Anyone else deploying using intune?
I have deployed 1.3.2 msi 64bit and the newer 1.4 beta. Systems are all running windows 11 pro.
