Beginners' Questions Can you overwrite files on a Batch Export?

When I do a Batch Export of my file, if the output file already exists, I get a 2nd set of files created that all have `copy` appended to the base file name. I've looked all over for an option to overwrite the existing files, but I can't find it.

Is it possible to overwrite files on a Batch Export?

    TIA,

    Jeff

    Hi @jdavies,

Not for now it seems. Batch export is yet a pretty young functionality in Inkscape and I didn't find any setting to force overwriting.
    Best regards,

I would also like the option to overwrite files on batch export, that would be a huge time saver.  @jdavies did you find a solution that works?

@Gradient_Handles no I'm afraid not. Im hoping it is addressed in the next release of inkscape.
